Rublev has been superb during the indoors season winning tournaments in both Vienna and St Petersburg. His loss to Wawrinka in Paris was surprising however the benefit of an early exit there could be repaid here. Over the years this has proved a poor event for Nadal.
  • Ekaterina Alexandrova (RUS) d. Nadia Podoroska (ARG) 6-2 6-1

While the market continues to underestimate the recent rapid improvement of Podoroska, it makes complete sense to support her for the 3rd time this week. Alexandrova is a tougher opponent than Giorgi or Begu but not markedly so and the price increase compensates
  • Jannik Sinner (ITA) d. Alex De Minaur (AUS) 6-7(3) 6-4 6-1

Two very talented players who are sure to rank much higher. The odds dictate the bet on De Minaur, it is tough to split them. He reached the final in Antwerp where he lost to Humbert and then lost to eventual winner Medvedev in Paris. A win against Karatsev in the opening round may seem straight forward but that player has improved signficantly in 2020
  • Oceane Dodin (FRA) d. Sorana Cirstea (ROU) 6-4 6-4

Cirstea stands more chance than the odds imply here, she had a good US Open and her performances against a fair standard of player stands some scrutiny. Dodin has superb indoor statistics but most of that has been achieved at ITF level, she only scraped past Teichmann in the opening round.
  • Nadia Podoroska (ARG) d. Camila Giorgi (ITA) 6-7(4) 6-1 6-4

Sticking with Podoroska as very much a value underdog. She had shown rapid progression culminating in reaching the semis at Roland Garros. Younger and higher ranked yer not favourite.
  • Nadia Podoroska (ARG) d. Irina-Camelia Begu (ROU) 6-4 6-4
    at Linz WTA 250 (AUT)

The one question mark over Podoroska is whether she can be as effective indoors as on clay courts, however her given her rapid recent progression culminating in reaching the semis at Roland Garros is worth the risk. Begu is no pushover though, it's a even game in my eyes but the younger higher ranked player get my vote and cash.
  • Vasek Pospisil (CAN) d. Jan-Lennard Struff (GER) 6-3 6-4
    at Sofia ATP 250 (BUL)

Surprised to see Pospisil as underdog here. In my view, he is the better player indoors with decent performances against the likes of Auger-Alliasme and Medvedev especially standing out. Struff has only won two games since the start of October, beating Cecchinato indoors who is a clay courter and Basilashvili who hasn't won a match since March
  • Vera Zvonareva (RUS) d. Marta Kostyuk (UKR) 6-4 6-2
    at Linz WTA 250 (AUT)
    Indoor Hard, Round of 32
    0 (2980) Aces +$0 ROI:+0.0% 0%
    Nov 8 2020 22:23:37
Both players have reached ITF Finals in the last month so are in form, however Kostyuk is only 18yo and at half the age of her opponent, possesses much more potential to rank higher. At the US Open she hammered Kastkina, beat Sevastova and took eventual winner Osaka to a deciding set to indicate her progression
  • Camila Giorgi (ITA) d. Sara Sorribes Tormo (ESP) 6-3 5-7 6-4
    at Linz WTA 250 (AUT)
    Indoor Hard, Round of 32
    0 (2980) Aces +$0 ROI:+0.0% 0%

Giorgi has not been seen since retiring with an elbow injury at the French Open, so fitness and form have question marks to answer. Sorribes Tormo reached the QF indoors in Ostrava with her win over Kontaveit reading very well
  • Andrey Rublev (RUS) d. Dominic Thiem (AUT) 7-6(5) 6-2
    at Vienna ATP 250 (AUT)
    Indoor Hard, Quarter Final

Thiem produced a far more polished display against Garin yesterday conceding no break points in an easy win as he gets back to full speed following his French Open loss to Schwartzman. Despite Rublev being in similarly excellent form, Thiem should still be a shorter price based on the fact that his game when on song can compete with the best the game can offer. He is defending champion, now a grand slam winner and on home soil here.
