TennisInsight Reward System
TennisInsight is all about rewarding it’s members for participating and sharing their knowledge. The more active you are on the site and more Insight you share the more your fans will cheer and give you Aces! Each 1000 Aces you earn on TI gets converted into extended subscription time on the site automatically every week – the community rewards it’s most helpful members.
How Aces Work
Aces are the currency for rewards on the site and every active member of the site can award them. All users can accrue aces from fellow users by contributing their tips, analysis and in fact any information that fellow TI users may find useful. When you see a user’s Your Insight post you can give them 1, 3 or 5 Aces by clicking the bronze, silver or gold hearts respectively. Your Aces to Give are topped up weekly so use them wisely but generously.
Ace Leaderboards show the top users on the site over various periods so you know who provides the best analysis and information to the community.
Tip Competition Prizes
Additionally tip competitions award big Ace prizes to winners. Previously tip comps ran on major tournaments, but this year every tournament has it’s own tip comp! The top 3 users in the Earnings, ROI and Tip % categories win Ace prizes.
Previously you could bet up to a maximum on every match whether or not you made great tips or not and the benchmarking would just count your overall earnings. By limiting users to a starting bankroll successful tipsters are able to make more bets and climb the leaderboards – we like seeing successful tipsters!
Not everyone can be successful though, so if you’re under $1000 bankroll, we top you up every week on a Sunday to $1000. If only this happened in real life right?
We’ve made Tournament Ace prize payouts in line with real world prize money ratios, making Slams a lot more valuable than Masters/Premier level, and so on down the line to the smallest events.
Here’s a breakdown:
Level | 1st | 2nd | 3rd |
Slams | 2000 | 1000 | 500 |
Masters/Premier | 500 | 250 | 175 |
ATP/WTA | 100 | 50 | 25 |
Ch/ITF | 50 | 25 | 12 |
Bankroll Topups
Initially we liked the idea of encouraging users to spend their bankroll placing tips knowing this safety net was there to top them up, however it turns out that a lot of users were just gaming the system by outlaying big safe bets on a Sunday just to get topped back up.
So now outstanding tips will now be included in the calculation that tops up your Bankroll each week. If your bankroll and pending bets total under $1000 though, you’ll still get topped up the difference.
Remember the community benefits from the users sharing their tips and analysis!
Good luck everyone. Keep up the feedback on the site and happy punting!
