After losing the final in her previous tournament, Petra had one day off before starting here. In her most recent match against Harmony, she had her lower leg bandaged and took a MTO after winning the first set. I haven't seen the other one play but she has also lost a final and then had one day off before starting here. This is one I'll be watching to possibly make an in-play bet. Some place where bets are good with a retirement and a completed first set. For my money, I'd want a little more than $1.47 as I starting price on Petra but she is looking quite good and getting it done so far. One other thing that I think should be mentioned and noted is that Kaitlin played three sets in her latest match. I didn't see that match but I don't think she would have stayed on court for an extra set to practice her one-shot highlight-reel winners every time her racket found the ball. I see this quite often. Pat Rafter is quoted as saying that "The smaller tournaments are invaluable for working on different aspects of your game." I'm looking forward to this one.
