How can we talk about a marquee match on Day 4 at the U.S. Open, and not mention this one!? I’m sure most of you scrolled through the schedule this morning, and said “DelPo vs. Stevie Johnson? Now that will be a good match!” Seriously, If you’re only going to pick one match to watch today, I would pick this one.
When people think about American Tennis these days, the Pete Sampras’ & Andre Agassi’s are long gone. The Billie Jean King’s & Chris Evert’s are even more of a distant memory on the women’s side. The face of American tennis for the past 20 or so years has been all about two sisters from Compton, CA, Venus & Serena Williams.
