This will be 8th match in 9 days for Kotliar. Last week she lost in finaly of ITF Bydgoscz in Poland against opponent which is ranked on 999. place on WTA ranking. Yesterday she played and won the marathon against Siskova after more than 3 hours of play.

Pia Lovric has 28-11 on clay this year and she cruised through qualies and first two rounds in Prague with only 10 lost games in 4 matches. She was underdog in first two rounds, but anyway she won those matches super easy with Laboutkova
    6:2 6:0 and Wolff 6:1 6:1.

Lovric also lead the h2h against Kotliar tnx to win in Portoroz on clay this year with 7:5 6:4. Recently peak Lovric should have the edge against probably tired Kotliar here.

  • Lucas Poullain (FRA) d. Michael Geerts (BEL) 6-7(5) 6-3 7-5

Poullain has 135-67 on hardcourts in career and 14-6 this year. He took the title on Istanbul challenger few weeks ago and is currently on 7 matches winning streak. He passed easily through first two round in Roehampton against Basing as underdog 6:0 7:6 and against Dursaovic 6:2 6:4.

Geerts plays very erratically and this is only his 2nd quarterfinal on the challenger tour this year.
  • Oliver Tarvet (GBR) d. Charles Broom (GBR) 6-4 5-7 6-1

Tarvet is on 11-1 on hardcourts this year, but the only defeat came exactly against Broom few weeks ago and quite easy 3:6 2:6.

Broom is on 7 matches winning streak without dropped set and also without tie-break in those matches. He got 13-4 on hardcourts this year.

So my betting friends, just for info if someone want to play ...

Both Kimmer Coppejans and Elmer Moller should play in US Open Quals, starting next monday. At the moment they are both in Europe in peanuts-challengers draws, Coppejans in Prague and Moller in London.

They both need to loose today to arrive in time in NY. Just to show up in QR1 in NY means almost 30 000 dollars check for them, and evtl titles in Prague 15000 or London just 8000 ... R2 of Qualies in NY means 42000 and R3 57000 dollars. Passing to the MD of US Open means 110 000 dollars and that is the same amount of money like 7 Challenger titles in Prague or 14 titles in Roehampton...

Clear, Moller and Coppejans should end their ways in Prague and London today, because money plays big role for the challenger level players ... And the bag with big amount money is in NY, not in PRague, not in Roehampton ...
