As like every year the Month of March was occupied by the entertaining and acton thrilled Indian Wells and Miami, where we crowned Novak Djokovic and Victoria Azarenka as Champions in both events

The Swiss has 4 lost finals here – 3 from Rafael Nadal and the most recent one in 2014 to Stan Wawrinka while he hasn’t won the title in his illustrious career

It may sound like a broken record nowadays but the defending champion of the event is…Novak Djokovic. He has won every tournament except 1 he has entered so far this year and will look to add more, especially now when he holds the record for most ATP 1000 titles with 28,just 1 more than the 8 time winner in Monte Carlo – Rafael Nadal

The Monte Carlo Masters starts on Sunday, with the top 8 seeds having a bye into the 2^nd round.

Many of the WTA top players will be using this coming week to either represent their country in the weekend’s coming Fed Cup or take a bit of a breather and make a smoother transition from the US to Europe switch.

However, Bogota will be hosting an International event, where big points and money can benefit some of the lower ranked players.

Defending champion Teliana Pereira is back as the #2 seed, but big favorite is the 16-th ranked Elina Svitolina in this weak field that sees the cut off being as low as #160.

Fed Cup World Group Semis as well as World Group 1 and 2 Playoffs all happening in the weekend, where the biggest question is – will the Czech Rep. finally be dethroned and lose a tie for the first time since April 2013 (SF then to Italy)  ?

They are visiting the Swiss without both Petra Kvitova and Lucie Safarova, but still boost a pretty good team with Karolina Pliskova and Barbora Strycova.

Belinda Bencic, and recently rediscovered form by Timea Bacsinszky could be enough, and even if it gets close and the tie be decided in the 5-th rubber doubles match – Martina Hingis is there to help as well
