ďMedvedev and Pospisil will be going head-to-head for the second time in their careers and for the second time this year when they meet again on Thursday. After Medvedev won 7-6(7), 7-5 last fall in Shanghai, Pospisil pulled off a 6-4, 6-3 upset a few months later on the indoor hard courts of Rotterdam.

It has already been a great week for Pospisil, who qualified for the Vienna main draw and then beat fellow Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime 7-5, 7-5. Medvedev opened with a 6-3, 6-1 beatdown of lucky loser Jason Jung, which is encouraging even though the fourth-seeded Russian was a massive favorite. He needs some momentum right now and will be eager for success at this 500-point tournament to pick up confidence prior to the Paris Masters and year-end championship.

I think Daniil suffered from mental fatigue after his US open loss, not physical - and heís been pushing for a break through from that and this would be a great spot to start. These courts suit him well. Force him to be slightly more aggressive on his shot selection on a surface which rewards flatter strokes. Also suits pospisilís first serve
    The pick is med
