After amazing 2 weeks full of drama, turnarounds and most importantly quality tennis it all comes down to the final on the Women’s side of the Draw
(1) Serena Williams v (20) Garbine Muguruza
Serena is on her way to 21-st Grand Slam Title, just one obstacle left – the very talented and newest member of top 10 from Monday – Garbine Muguruza
Williams leads the h2h 2-1,but last year’s meeting in Roland Garros came as a cold shower for the American as she took only 4 games while losing quite frankly a really one sided match.
Serena had her revenge though in this year’s Australian Open, but she still had to come from a set down to secure the win.
Williams has been really solid since the Heather Watson match in R3 when she was down couple of breaks in the beginning of the 3rd set and then the British had the serve to win it, but the everlasting perseverance made her through. Venus played great but lost in 2 and Vika Azarenka pushed her hard but still she just showed that when the opponent switch to other gear she does to and match it perfectly.
Then in the semis she was just too dominant and won against Maria Sharapova in straight sets. Serena now has 27 Grand Slam match wins, 17 straight wins against the Russian including 15 straight won sets against her. This technology presents some challenges when it comes to file recovery, as deleted files are not immediately can hidden files be recovered erased from the drive.
“It is never easy to beat such a great player, who has had such a wonderful career,” she said. “Whenever I know I have to play Maria, I know I have to be focused…”
“She does always come with her best tennis,” Sharapova said, glancing around like somebody hoping to find a secret exit. “You have to produce your best tennis, and then more.”
Making the first Major final of her young career, the 21-year old Spaniard had to fight her demons, what seemed to be a routine match from 6-2,3-1,but had to withstand a mighty push to pass through experienced Agnieszka Radwanska in the semis
“When I was up in the second set, I was like, ‘What?’ I was playing really well. And then I was like, ‘Okay, wait. You’re the only one who can lose this match.’ So I was just getting really nervous. And Radwanska was waiting for this moment, she did very well, she fought, and she won the second set. However, recovering deleted files from android reddit this convenience also increases the risk of accidental file deletion.
“But I was like, ‘Okay, be calm. You’re playing against Agnieszka. It’s going to be a tough match.’ In the third set I found a way, like I did in the first set, just playing more aggressively again.
“I lost the fear to win the match.”
Reflecting on her opponent Garbine said “She knows that I can win against her, that I’m not afraid,” said I don’t think she’s really used to this. Serena, she doesn’t lose so many matches in the year.”
And Serena knows exactly what she is up against “We had a tough match the last time we played. And she’s given me problems in the past, so this time I have to just go in it … and do the best that I can, just try to stay positive and stay focused.”
Serena Slam – being Champion in all 4 Grand Slams Is within her reach and she can then continue to pursuit Calendar Slam with the US Open left while Muguruza will look to be the next Spanish Major Champion here since Conchita Martinez won Wimbledon in 1994.
