It’s been one week since Roland Garros started and the tournament is in full swing. It  is already clear who are the participants in the second week, but which ones will be the first qualified for the quarterfinals we get to know tomorrow after the matches being played on the courts in Paris. When they got in that stage of the tournament it’s supposed that they have the force for more.

New day, new emotions in Paris. On Saturday it’s time for the matches from the top halves in both tournaments. In action we will see world No. 1 Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams and a few left players of the host country. In first days of the tournament happened most of the biggest surprises, chiefly in women’s scheme but is tomorrow a day for new ones? Take the popcorn and watch!

First round offered interesting and unexpected results in both draws. Only one of the top 10 in men ranking left the race – Marin Cilic, while in women‘s tournament the situation is quite different. 3 of the best players are already out, while 2 didn’t participate. On the second day of round 2 we can expect very interesting and unpredictable battles which we pay attention below.

First round offered many upsets as we saw 2 top 10 players leaving out in women’s race – Australian Open champion Angelique Kerber and US Open finalist Roberta Vinci. Outstanding favorites in the men scheme also had huge difficulties with their first opponents.  Last year’s champion Stan Wawrinka beats in 5 sets Lukasz Rossol, while Andy Murray needs two days to overcome also in five sets Radek Stеpanek. Wednesday matches suggest interesting meetings in both draws. Most battles can offer new surprises, so tomorrow action shouldn’t be missed.
