Fernandez racked up two massive upsets but I think at the moment Svitolina is a tougher ask as the Ukrainian has been solid going into the US Open and has only dropped 2 sets in her last 9 matches.
  • Emma Raducanu (GBR) d. Sara Sorribes Tormo (ESP) 6-0 6-1

Sorribes Tormo is 22-6 (79% win percentage) on hard courts in 2021. Raducanu is equally as impressive however on a much smaller sample size.

I think Sorribes Tormo will be Raducanu's toughest test yet out of the last 10 matches she played and at these prices I fancy the Spaniard as I believe Raducanu's price is quite skinny with all the hype surrounding her.
  • Oscar Otte (GER) d. Andreas Seppi (ITA) 6-3 6-4 2-6 7-5

Seppi only won 3 of his last 7 and despite his two upsets against Fucsovics and Hurkacz, I'm still not confident in backing the 37 year-old as he's been pretty poor this year. I watched the latter parts of the game against Hurkacz and one thing I noticed was that Hurkacz was too passive so if Otte takes a more offensive approach, I think he should be able to win this one.
  • Matteo Berrettini (ITA) d. Ilya Ivashka (BLR) 6-7(5) 6-2 6-4 2-6 6-3

I've not been entirely convinced by Berrettini post-Wimbledon and Ivashka has been on fire lately so I can see him take 1 or more sets off the Italian.
