| | @227367 - mate I didn't call her a one-hit pony I said it will be interesting to see how she recovers from this. The rare few losses she has suffered during her great streak have not been like this one - masses of double faults, smashed rackets, emotional body language all showing the Safina of old. So I said it will be interesting to see which path she takes I'm guessing she gets back on track but stranger things have happened. |

| | @destroyer.Safina hardly now a one-hit pony.Recent results.Won Berlin.Runner up in the French.,Runner up S'Hertogenbosch.Round of 32 at Wimbledon.Won Los Angeles.Won Montreal.Those are her last 6 tournament results.Now a Silver medal at the Olympics.NOT BAD FOR A ONE-HIT PONY.Usually you comments are spot on but this one is way off the mark! |

| | Thanks destroyer...must say after years of following Elena that the amount I laid didn't seem to affect me as much as how much i wanted this for her. She really did herself a favor mate....just luv her work ethic and how she is just a dream to go into battle with. Have not been always been able to bet on her match wise but the $2.37 was great to me here.
PS: I go for The Cats!!! YAY!!! :) |

| | @cats. Cheers mate I'm absolutely rapt with their performance. Didn't tell you it before because I thought it would ruin my credibility for that bet, but I'll now admit I'm a staunch St Kilda fan so it's double pleasure. Make that triple for Elena - what a performance and very happy for her that's lots of years of hardwork. Might be the tonic she needs for a GS to boost her belief etc. It will be interesting to see how Safina will recover mentally from this one - will she go back to old ways or will she get back on track and prove she's not just this one-hit pony... |
