| | hey hibzo33, you don't pick up how Federer now has a negative frame of mind playing Nadal? The guy is now his nemesis and Federer for all the calm he shows on court will never come close to Nadal nor beat him in major events unless he STOPS that stupid topspin backhand return against a topspin forehand from Nadal. You count how many points he surrendered with this tactic and how many easy point Nadal wins each match against him |

| | Federer may be one of the best as a player but what's between his ears in questionable. I have never seen a top line player make mistake after mistake tactically from the French to Wimbledon where he keeps trying to win from the baseline against Nadal. It in mainly on his backhand where he tries to control the topspinning shots from Nadal and the idiot just keeps losing the points. really Nadal should have won in 3-4 sets but obviously Federer's serving picked up. He was never going to win as still played from the baseline and failed to use the sliced backhand to keep Nadal at bay. This guy is simply STUPID when he plays Nadal and it's time he got a coach. He has really benn head-F and I can't see him beating Nadal again. |

| | Just to add my post-match opinion and views. First of all I feel I have to start by saying that match was the best I've ever seen. From start to finish (apart from weather) it was utter brilliance from both players. I backed Roger and lost, he didn't take his chances, e.g. 1/13 break point chances taken. A slight improvement on that and the result would have been totally different but I take nothing away from the performance of Nadal who was and had to be for most of the match faultless. Talking about Federer surrendering his No.1 ranking though is a massive exaggeration don't you think? It's almost impossible for Nadal to overhaul him. Nadal will be World No.1 one day, but not for years and years to come. Federer reached yet another Grand Slam final and although he came up just short a final showing doesn't constitute a demise in form in my opinion. I backed him today and lost and I'll back him again at the U.S.Open. Remember Federer is still top of the tree. There has also been talk of Nadal not being able to carry on for as long as other players but I don't agree with that actually, he's not the type to let his body give in. Nadal could play well into his 30s at least, "Federer with his style and finesse could play into his 70s and still thrash everybody" remarked Scouse betting enthusiast Derek McGovern. Well done Rafael. |

| | m really surprised that nadal is playin stuttgart!!! he may withdraw bu trite now he is the top seed there!! i think poor rafa doesnt wana lose 250 pnts coz these pnts may prove to be the deciding factor b/w him and roger this year!! who knows!! |
