| | No question about Ferrer's win. He is in the bombing form before Wimbledon and will continou his fantastic run in the final too. Gicquel is in the perfect form too, but Ferrer cant stopable no more with a big serve at this surface! |

| | Ferrer is showing why he is ranked in the top 5 stringing together some quality wins this week en route to potentially his 7th career title. I think Ferrer came into this tournament wanting to get some practice on his the grass since he had only played 15 matches his entire career on the surface before this week. When Ferrer set up the meeting with Ancic in the quarters, it seems to me that he saw an opportunity to send a message to the rest of the tour since Ancic has won this title twice before and is considered a legitimate force on this surface. Now that he is in the final, you can bet that Ferrer is fully motivated to take down his 8th career title (his first on grass). Ferrer took a much needed week off after the French and has looked fresh and ready to go this week. His serve out wide sets up his devastating inside out forehand which he has turned into a solid weapon here in the Netherlands. Gicquel is coming off a string of quality wins including knocking out the veteran Canas in 3 sets and world top 10 Richie Gasquet earlier this week. Gicquel is using his blistering serve to dominate on his serve and you know the career vagabond wants nothing more than to win his first career title right before Wimbledon. These two met previously twice in France where the Frenchman used the support of the home crowd to oust the Spaniard but it shouldn't be understated that Ferrer was nowhere near the player then that he is now. With that being said I think that David should be poised to win this title but with the form that Gicquel is in a 3.60 price on the Frenchman is just too good to pass and I'll lay a small play on it. |

| | I've been against Gicquel in every single round and he has proved me wrong each time. It seems as though it is destiny for him to win this tournament and Im going to have to take him here. His service game is exceptional and every time he comes under any pressure on serve he manages to fight it off. Ferrer could be in trouble if he doesnt take Gicquel too seriously. For the fact that Gicquel's serve this week has been solid and Ferrer's serve is weak, im going for maximum stakes n Gicquel |

| | As I said before, Ferrer's match against Ancic was his biggest test here, and I'm not backing off that statement. The supreme return game of Ferrer always gives him a chance against even the best servers in the game, and Gicquel by no means falls into that category. Gicquel will be forced to work hard to earn his points, and I can't honestly see a situation where Ferrer doesn't take the title here. |

| | By CEP: Ferrer> +42,8 (57%) --- Gicquel> +32,3 (43%) ... (Note: Odds gives Ferrer 71% chances BUT C.E.P only 57%. So, there is no value for Spaniards. If somebody likes to risk, Ferrer's win in 3 is quite possible and pays more!) |

| | Quite definitely the end of the road for Gicquel who reall hasn't impressed me all week although beating canas who really isnt out of slump and gasquet who is very up and down. On the other Ferrer my fav playa has shown great form on grass beating ancic a known grasscourter and del potro most recently. This should be a walk in the park for Ferrer and im going with a 2 sets victory for him. |
