Steve Darcis has been one of the most improved players on tour this year, rising many hundred ranks and also capturing his first ever title. He dominated Jan Hajek in the quarters before the Czech player retired upon completion of the first set. Plays an unknown quantity here in Haider-Maurer, but apparently this guy prefers the clay surface. He'll need everything to go his way though, cause Darcis is on fire and should have no problem getting through here in 2.
Tip: ATP Players can have an uncanny liking (or disliking as the case may be) of certain tournaments. These sorts of factors are not directly built into the Insight Tennis Model and often help explain sudden reversals of form.
