| | He's made a bad start and I'm becoming aggrieved that he's in an accumulator of mine. 1/66 indeed |

| | Hernandez will have his hand out for the first round losers cheque and increasing his grass tally to 0-5. Mathieu has a much better pedigree on this surface and this should be plain sailing for the Frenchman. |

| | Mathieu gave Hernandez a two-set lead at the French Open on a surface that the Spaniard lives and breathes, yet was still capable of coming back to win it in 5 to extend the h2h to 2-0. Here, on grass - a surface that the defensive and powerless Hernandez despises as proven by his 0-4 career record - it all appears a foregone conclusion. While Hernandez was competing at post-French Open claycourt events in Warsaw and a German challenger, the serious Frenchman was busy getting fit for the grass competing at Queens (d. Cilic, l. to Hewitt) and Nottingham (l. to Cilic). He is a powerful but erratic player who has never hit his strips on this surface, however last year here he did pull off some heroics beating Stepanek, Ferrer and Ljubicic before Roddick ended his fairytale in a tough encounter. He has a big serve that he is likely to use much to his advantage to push the Spaniard well behind the baseline and out of court, and his backhand is likely to cause Oscar even more problems. The forehand can be shanked at times, but that's usually against the power-hitters that can put that wing under extreme firepower pressure. Mathieu should not drop a set here, but we all know that his mental strength is as good as Hernandez's grass record. |

| | I like Oscar. He's allright but doesn't get the gigitty gigitty. hahaha. Blew PHM like a candle in the wind at RG but couldn't seal the deal and lost in 5. I wish Oscar the best as he really is a likeable guy. PHM in this as plays a far aggressive game and i see a trashing....sorry Oscar. You are out in 3. |
