| | Used to be a big fan of Sluiter who can often play in the Andrew Ilie and Agustin Calleri mould of just all out aggression and almost a lack of care/fear for the game. He has the advantage of a home crowd behind him (the only Dutchman in the draw!) and can take confidence out of the fact he's beaten Llodra twice. Granted, the Frenchman has rejuvinated his singles career and has been serving out of this world, but he is quite vulnerable from the back of the court and like Karlovic he is always looking for the chip and charge or the defensive slice. If Sluiter can exploit that with his flashy grounstrokes and maintain a healthy first serve percentage, he will be able to free his arms on the Llodra serve where he has nothing to lose. Tiebreaks could be the go, but I'm happy to take a stab at the local boy at the juicy odds. |

| | Llodra has found a new found zest for the singles game and his serving has been truly outstanding this year. He meets journeyman wildcard Sluiter whom he currently leads 3-2. Sluiter has struggled at challenger level this year and despite home advantage it is dificult to see him coping with the serving onslaught that Llodra can produce. |
