 stepanek is one of my favourite 'betting' players and he faces one of my favourite 'clay' players starace, the difference in class should be shown here though on this surface and I would fancy Radek to progress - there is always a question mark with players like tipsarevic, keifer and stepanek with there condition - he has many niggling problems with his body which could induce retirement - providing you go for a bookie who voids on retirements I see no reason why you shouldnt be confident of a stepanek victory. add to a confident multi.

 Radek has had an average year and as he decends to the twilight of his career, this match will be more dangerous now than ever before. Interestingly Radek has retired/pulled out of tournaments 6 times this year so dating tennis babes and an ever increasing modelling career is taking its toll!!! Radek has only played 3 matches since Wimbledon, all defeats, so comes into this years US Open a little rusty to say the least. Starace is a very solid clay court player and with his 6'4 frame should be able to deliver a serve for the faster courts. As already stated, took a set off Nadal in the Olympics, which many failed to do. As betting goes, I would be more inclined to lay Stepanek to lose at 1.29. The longer Starace can stay in the match the better as Stepanek's fitness will be in question if this turns out to be a marathon.

 got a feelin about starace for this one and some nice lookin odds so this combined with a Zverev win over robredo into an accumulator is seein some DELICIOUS odds...so why not just for banter if nothing else?
