| | Bovina has the advantage in all aspects except from mobility and agility, but by dominating the exchanges, this hopefully will not come in to play |

| | Two contrasting styles with the big burly figure of the heavy and erratic hitting of Bovina pitted against the warrior-like scurrying from the Aussie Adamczak. Bovina comes in with stunning form having taken out the Bronx title but she did play 8 matches in quick time which could pose a fatigue or letdown issue. Adamczak has been in poor form unfortunately though with her self-belief probably a little low, and the fact Bovina made the 3rd round here in 04 where she pushed Lindsay Davenport all the way would see her a tough opponent to knock over. |

| | Most of the Australian girls being produced will only be as good as 100-150 rankers except Stolle and Dellaqua.
Europe produces some of the better players going around now. Probably more exposed when children to playing on various surfaces and countries. |

| | Adamczak is under the guidance of Federer's former coach Tony Roche and has enjoyed her best season yet achieving a best 2nd round at GS level (AO) and a career-high singles ranking of 169 back in Feb. The Aussie is a great athlete renowned for her fitness and stamina out on court, and despite some recent losses on hardcourt lately she is at her best on the quicker surfaces. Sybille Bammer is very much an overrated player but, like her opponent, works extremely hard in running down all the balls and mixing things up to derail her opponents. She is glad to be back on her favourite hardcourts after a horror majority of 2008, and defeated Dubois and Chakvetadze before eventual finallist Pennetta ousted her in a 3-set thriller in the QF. The lefty is unique but has a very decent serve that Adamczak will struggle to get on top of, and has the ability to up her aggression and start hitting the ball into the corners as well as defending. The Austrian mother is no certainty but you'd think with that return to form she'll have the self-belief to knock out Adamczak who might just find this a tad too rich. |
