| | I am not convinced about Pazcek. Sure she beat Schiavone but is that girl any good? Served 40% for the match and 30% in the 3rd Set. Quite rightly deserved to lose.
If Czink gets her 1st serve in i am sure she will not be giving Pazcek musch chance to win free points and get into the games.
I am still not convinced about Pazcek's fitness and Czink should be able to rally with her. |

| | Paszek is back on the ball this week after a terrible 2008 season and her win over Nakamura and narrow loss to eventual finallist Pennetta has been backed up with a courageous win over Schiavone here on D1. The Austrian youngster showed great maturity not to drop her bundle in the first set where she failed to serve it out, then after winning the tiebreak found herself losing 7 of the next 8 games to be at a set-all and 0-1 down when rain stopped play for the 3rd time. She then blitzed the wily Italian veteran when the two resumed, producing some very good winner counts and taking toll on Schiavone's second ball. Melinda Czink was forced to work excessively hard in her win over Julie Ditty, but after winning the first set breaker cruised to a bagel in the second against an opponent who has very little by way of attacking forays. Paszek is the complete opposite - not only she is a brilliant young athlete - she hits the ball incredibly hard and anyone who has seen her when she was at the top of her game late last year and early this year would know that she is an incredible shot-maker and has good choice of shot for someone her age. Czink has a good serve and is at home on the hardcourts, but she could well find herself overpowered by the youngster as she has done on this surface recently by other big-hitters in Jankovic, Wozniacki, Voskoboeva and Dellacqua. Tamira is a class above and provided she has backed up well she should prove it against the Hungarian journeywoman. |
