| | Reynolds lost convincingly against another Spaniard (Verdasco) in Nothingham so, my tendency is to leave this one alone but with the pendulum tilting towards Lopez in a close match. |

| | American hopes are now pinned on Bobby Reynolds, the 106th ranked journeyman who has enjoyed his career highlight this week, after Roddick and Blake were both upstaged in shock upsets yesterday. Reynolds backed up a solid display over Volandri who retired down 2 sets with a fantastic come-from-behind win over Dancevic after snearing a marathon second set breaker. Dancevic complained of a left rib injury that was treated courtside, but take nothing away from Reynolds who has served at a brilliant 88% of first points won (second behind Kiefer 90% this week) and has won near 80% of points at net. The American has also pounded 87 winners to just 37 errors, and is showing that despite a lack of regularity grass is definitely a surface he enjoys. Lopez, who unlike most Spaniards is at home on the grass with a booming serve and hefty groundies, defied some recent horrible lead-up form to eclipse Dabul in a see-sawing encounter then ousted the erratic Karanusic in straight sets. The lefty faced only one break point the entire match and served down 15 aces, but will definitely be looking at making more inroads on the return where he has won a low 38% this week against two average servers. Lopez can be lazy with his footwork and movement and is not the most mentally strong player, and this year has succumbed to lowly players such as Vassalo (107), Young (86) and Bolelli (when 47). He can be just as sublime with his winners as he can poor with his execution and decision making, and with Feliciano you bet at your own peril. Reynolds is riding a high wave right now and with a decent record over left-handers and a more circumspect game, he could very well do some danger at big odds. Lopez is the likely winner, but the American is the more worthwhile bet especially if he can continue his serving exploits. |

| | Dont put too much into Dancevices win against Nalbandian. I agree with lilboy, there is a myth about letting go after pulling a huge upset. The odds for Dancevic have been shortened everywhere but i really think Bobby can take him. He is a well worthy opponet, playing a very solid season this year |

| | In normal circumstances I would be backing Dancevic here. He has a good serve and soft hands being able to make some great shots on the net. As we know, after great showing in Surbiton he retired last week from Queen´s. Because of this wrist injury I don´t feel comfortable backing him. There has been quite a few retirements allready on 1. round and I feel better staying off from this one. |

| | Like their h2h shows, Dancevic is a superior on faster courts. His win over Nalbandian was nothing short of spectacular, even though there are some doubts over Nalbi's motivation. But nevertheless, nothing can be taken from Dancevic who is a very capable serve and volley player. Reynolds is not all that good on grass, and it seems to me that he would prefer a little bit slower surface which would give him enough time to prepare for his shots. Dancevic is heading into this match as the clear favorite and I would be very surprised if he would lose. |

| | I like reynolds here, both players around the same rank, bot accomplished around the same thing (nothing) and dont think that dancevic can back up his performance against nalbandian who is in rubbish form of late. |

| | I'd be cautious in backing Dancevic here. There is always the myth of a let down after beating a top player in nalbandian. Reynolds is no slouch and should push Dancevic. One that I will be staying clear of, but if I had to chose it would be Reynolds with value as Dancevic's value doesn't reflect his abilities. |

| | I won't detract from what was probably the biggest win of Dancevic's career over Nalbandian but the Argentine is certainly injured and we may not see him again this year. Reynolds just had to hold his racquet as Volandri went through the motions and collected another first round Wimbledon losers cheque calling it a day after two sets. Both players have big serves but Dancevic holds a telling 3-1 hd2hd advantage and is the more accomplished player in the forecourt and also has a better return game than the American. Reynolds could be struggling to make a breakthrough in this one and Dancevic certainly looks the more likely to progress with the better rounded game. |
