Eduardo Schwank (ARG) d. Michael Berrer (GER) 6-4 6-1 at Kitzbuhel ATP (AUT) - Clay, Round of 32 <<
Schwank is the deffinate favourite here. With a record of 46-16 on clay this year compared to Berrers whos is under 50% is much more superior and seeing that both players have played most of the eaerly part of the season in the challengers shown that there level is quite the same but schwank has stepped up a notch in the middle part of the season. So Schwank should take the game easily based on his great form of late.

Schwank has been on fire this year - the german will be too slow when ES gets the ball back in play and break Berrer more than he will be broken. ES to win

Eduardo Schwank is quicker and more solid from the baseline that Berrer, and i really can't see he would be troubled by the German..

People selling the German a bit short here I reckon and getting a little carried away on the Schwank bandwagon. Worth a small bet

Schwank will be looking to move his ranking on up and will be looking to get deep into every tournament he plays and i think he will do this here, starting with a win over Berrer. Will be tight but Schwank to progress

Agustin Calleri (ARG) d. Michael Berrer (GER) 6-4 6-2 at Stuttgart ATP (GER) - Clay, Quarter Final <<
The only problem with Calleri is that he often becomes too impatient therefore erratic. He has great power and is extremely quick and I think Berrer could be in for a bit of a hard time if the Argentine turns up. Calleri 4/11 Berrer 13/5.

Agustin Calleri (ARG) d. Michael Berrer (GER) 6-4 6-2 at Stuttgart ATP (GER) - Clay, Quarter Final <<
Argentine veteran Calleri has won eight of his last nine on clay and is a very dangerous opponent when he is on form and is capable of firing winners from anywhere particualrly from his forehand wing. Berrer is on his best run of the year which constitutes a winning streak of two, which shows just how off-colour the German has been. Calleri has a decent 41-27 lifetime record against lefties and an even better 36-18 on clay. Although Berrer beat Almagro in the last round his record against the ultra aggressive players like Calleri isn't that good and Verdasco, Andreev and Gabashvilli have all beaten him this year. Calleri leads the heads up 1-0 but that was way back in 2002. This is Berrer's best ever showing at this tournament and he was beaten in his first match on his five previous starts here. Berrer has a big enough serve to make it difficult for Calleri but you would expect the Argentines clay court pedigree to come to the fore eventually.
