| | Dancevic had a great US Swing last year but the Canadian fell away a bit after the US Open. Nieminen has a 4-0 record against Dancevic the latest a 4 and 1 win this year. Dancevic has a moderate record against lefties and it looks as though the Finn has the indian sign over his Canadian counterpart. |

| | Dancevic's favoured surface is the real hard courts, where he is able to generate that extra zip on his serve and the bal comes nicely onto his racket where he is able to use the speed of his opponent's shots to hit it back with interest. Can be quite flashy, and has good skills at net, but shot selection and tactics often play a major part in his downfall. MAthieu has had a stellar year on the whole, improving his serving efficiency and groundstrokes which are now extremely powerful and difficult to read. Makes less unforced errors than the Mathieu of old, and that may be the difference between him and his Canadian opponent. |

| | Dancevic has never really excelled in Europe and his form following the US Open has been quite modest. Mathieu followed a final in Moscow with a reasonable display in Madrid. Both players have useful serves but Mathieu has the better groundstrokes and that should be tha major difference here. |

| | Dancevic's last maych was indeed a squeaker in the end and he'll have to play much better in this next matchup. As mentioned in previous posts, Dancevic does not have a great record versus the top 10 but the odds here for Blake are not worth the risk for me, as I agree with thedestroyer9 that this will not be an easy match for Blake. Dancevic may very well take a set in this match and despite playing shaky in the Wessels match. Can't back my fellow countryman either and for those who want to play on the American, I would recommend Blake to win as a good bet in a small parlay.

| | Picked up some good dough with Blake winning 2-1 against Bjorkman as that was a danger game for the Americna. He got thru that after trailing a set, but will need to improve here against the dangerous Dancevic who did beat the showman in their only meeting albeit three years ago on Blake's least preferred clay surface. Blake will need to serve at a high first serve percentage, otherwise the aggressive and flashy Dancevic will attempt to pounce on the second delivery like he did against Wessels. Blake's groundies are more solid and consistent, but both men will go for broke here especially the Canadian who has a liking for trying to end the points rapidly by heading down the line. This is why he sometimes racks up high unforced error counts, but he can't afford to do that here against Blake. Blake has lost his lst 4 against big servers, but has now won 11 on end in Stockholm and 12 of his last 14 indoors. Add to that Dancevic's poor record against top 10 players and Blake should progress but it won't be easy. |

| | Blake took his record to 11-0 at this tournament when coming from a set behind to beat Bjorkman (that was just the third set he has lost here). Dancevic needed a final set breaker to see off the big serving Wessels in a match that produced an astonishing 58 aces, 35 of them to the Canadian. Both players have plenty of pop on serve and how much of each others second serve they see could provide the key to this match. Expect plenty of big shots in this match up, you'd have to favour Blake but I expect Dancevic to be competitive given this has been a real breakthrough year for him. |

| | Dancevic fell early in his last tournament, despite playing in excellent form over the last two months. Wessels will rely on winning his service games but will find it difficult to break Dancevic. I don't see Dancevic having too much trouble handling the big man's serve, as he has played some top 10 talent in his run up the ranks this summer. Dancevic should be able to handel Wessels here and despite the low odds, I think it's worthy of a small play. |

| | Wessels is predominantly a challenger cirucit player with one major dimension to his game - the serve. The big Dutchman enjoys venturing to the net, but mainly due to his lack of groundstroke ability more so than any confidence he has in his volleying skills. Playing the flashy Dancevic here, who also has a powerful first ball, but has some damaging groundies to go with them. He will take the game to Wessels and will look to hit winner after winner. Prone to mental susceptibility but would be disapponited to see him lose to a player of this ranking especially considering he is 9 from 12 indoors in the past 12 months. |

| | Dancevic dislikes Asia ( only 45% of wins here ) and likes 3 setters. Very seldom we can see a straight sets win in matches of Frank.
So, 2:1 Schuettler. |

| | Dancevic is 1-0 h2h, but that was in Canada and Verdasco's fitness at the time was questionable as I remember watching that game. He is flary, and after a second set lapse, recovered to record his third consecutive win over del Potro in the opening round. Verdasco had a reprieve when his original opponent the big Joachim Johansson pulled out. The athletic Canadian has only won 3 of his last 8 against the lefties, whereas Verdasco has only 1 loss to his name in his previous 7 meetings against the big servers. Points to the Spaniard in 3. |
