| | D.CARSON..i agree that nadal is more vulnerable than roger when it cums to an exit before the final...but who comes in ur mind when u say that nadal will lose before the final?? i mean who do u think will beat nadal?? I think its tough for him to reach the final..but if he makes it there ..he will edge out roger and i can give some solid reasons for this prediction..roger is so good here that he may beat rafa bt nadal's chances r brighter if the 2 meet in the final!! |

| | Federer will win for a 6th straight year, that's all there is to say plain and simple. Also note everybody, I think Nadal will lose before the final. |

| | Not much more to add on this one apart from reinforcing that it should be a 3 set match victory for Federer. |

| | Roger has played two excellent matches this tournament and is showing no signs of an exit from the tournament atleast before the final.king federer will brush aside this mild threat in the form og gicquel, there is no way gicquel can threat roger.Federer has been serving well and his backhand is working so well after suffering so much anguish during the clay season where topspin eats his backhand.A 3 set viory for roger and he will ride the roller coaster into the 4th round under 2 hours.6-3 6-4 -3 |

| | Federer dropped serve just once against Soderling - the first time broken in the entire tournament - but it was business as usual. He hasn't looked quite as sharp in recent years, but Gicquel simply doesn't have the weaponry to test him. 72% of service points won, 25 aces and a winner-to-unforced error ratio of a quite 4 to 1 is enough said for Federer, and with Gicquel requiring a miracle comeback to overcome the lowly-ranked Serb Ilja Bozoljac is enough said. His form has been OK, but he is fairly hit-and-miss on the serve and his heavy flat groundstrokes don't lend themselves too kindly to the error count when put under some penetrative pressure that Federer is most definite to deliver. The draw has really opened up with the departures of Djokovic and Nalbandian, and it's hard to see the Swiss not making it to the final and furthermore winning his 6th straight crown. |

| | This will be another rountine victory for Fed on is beloved center court.Federer his playing awsome tennis at the moment. For me Federer has the best serve in the game an with doubt on grass Federer wasn`t broken once in Halle didn`t face one break point in the first round against Hrbaty an only faced four break points against Soderling saveing three of them.Federer serving was at top level against Soderling winning 47 of 58 (81%) behind is first serve.Gicquel comes to SW19 with high confidence after reaching the final at s`herto only to lose to Ferrer.Gicquel in the second round struggled through out tho an in his first two sets he looked lost out at sea but got is game back together an come from two sets behind against Bozoljac.Still i dont see many problems for the five time champion an i like Federer -8.5 games.Dont see Gicquel winning to many |

| | Federer was a straight sets winner, benefiting as Soderling froze when serving for the third set when he could have forced it to a fourth set. Federer had top notch serving stats 81% behind his first balls and a decent 58% behind his second and his returning was equally good three breaks and 42% of return points won. Gicquel cam from two sets down to get the better of the big serving Bozoljac playing two critical breakers better than his opponent but the Frenchman managed just a solitary break during the five sets. Gicquel has had a decent run on the grass winning six of his seven matches this year with a win over Gasquet the pick but this is an extremely tall order for him. Federer beat Gicquel at the US Open a couple of years ago and it is difficult to see anything other than the same outcome, Federer has few peers off the ground and he looks superior to Gicquel in all departments. |

| | I usually dont even think about giving insights on this sort of matches where it is not much to add. If the opponet would be someone else who could be more dangerous, i would probably go deeper. This is without a doubt 3-0 Federer |
