| | Jan Minar put some bad form behind him to eclipse Ouanna the youngster in the first stage, but faces a tough task here against the useful Estrella who has recently beaten Capdeville, Pless and Bopanna and has also matched it with Verdasco. He beat Xavier Malisse in the first stage of qualifying and that confidence alone should hold him in good stead here. |

| | Estrella was competitive against Verdasco recently early doors before he was pegged back and I don't think he will beat Malisse either. |

| | Malisse has had once again another injury proned year but will see this has a great chane of reaching the next round a player he`s beat twice this year,should have to much class again |
