| | Very difficult match for Mahut, i hope he will become more confident after a great victory here. Mahut was very frustrated against Roddick in Lyon, would like to do a good tournament here. |

| | Difficult to bet, Mahut is in very good physical form, but not spirit one. Devilder beat him twice in hard court in their last two matches. Except against P. Mathieu, Devilder had recently played good matches even if he lost them. |
