| | Hernych is having a great year in the challenger on the clay courts, with the record of 20-8 he is winning some iimpressive matches and altough hasnt continued his form into the atp he should be able to defeat a fellow challenger in hidalgo who is a clay specialist and plays most of his tennis on clay, has also played well on clay and had a good year but see his form recently fallen a bit and Hernych in response has been playing well and should take the cake in this match with some juicy odds so jump on the bandwagon people. |

| | Ramirez-Hidalgo for me...why? take a look at how many sets Hernych loses 6/0. Is this a motivation thing and the guy just gives up when he's down?
Whatever the case is I will go with someone who i can trust can get the chocolates for me. |

| | Ramirez is the better clay courter, but due to his lack of consistency he's only worth a small wager. |

| | I conform with KOLIOPP here. Ramirez is in my opinion all in all the better clay courter with a lack of consistency. At this price he is still worth a try. |

| | I dont think so there is any value in hernych as he has been axtremely lucky in Stuttgart and Ramirez dropped to about 150 in rankings but is very good claycourter and should take it quite comfortably and as for match cs fedex i ve been watching it and it was Fedex who tried new/risky shots and after He was in need of break not to lose he put his usual display anyway it was special match ... as for now I can see Hernych as any favourite here so must take ramireaz high stakes:0 |

| | Hernych was blessed last week, scraping through first round qualifying before losing convincingly to Rosol only to be reprieved by Nadal's forced spell. He then barely got over the line against Dabul who was wasteful deep into the third set, and proved no match for the young talent Schwank despite winning a set in their QF match. Prior to that, the consistent but harmless Czech was spending most of his time qualifying for tournaments that he would very rarely surpass the first round in. On the dirt, Hernych boasts an OK 75-62 record and has won 2 titles and made the final in another at challenger level, including wins over accomplished dirtballers in Roitman, Vanek, Luczak and Lapentti. Ramirez-Hidalgo, who has made a career out of rolling in the dirt all year around, as bullet said has been extremely inconsistent this year. He served for the match against an out-of-touch and error-riddled Federer at Monte Carlo before nerves paved way, and lost to 385th ranked Zeballos in an Italian challenger at the beginning of June which was his last workout. The Spaniard, despite his tireless work ethic and lightning speed, has had trouble counteracting the fellow consistent baseliners this year and has lost out to Gremelmayr, Daniel, Devilder and Vanek all this year. At Kitzbuhel, Ruben has lost first round on both occasions and given his recent decline it's hard to see him coming up with the attacking prowess that is required to overcome the steady play from an in-form and confident Hernych. |

| | Hernych had something of a fortuitous run to the quarter final in Stuttgart, coming in as a lucky loser for Nadal getting a bye and scraping a couple of breakers in the second round match despite being bagled in the other. The Czech did have a decent spell at challenger level on the dirt prior to the French open but doesn't look in the same form now although he maight not need to be. Dirt lover Ramirez-Hidalgo has been a bit hit and miss this year but did take a set off Federer at Monte Carlo but the Spaniard has not managed to get over the first hurdle at this event in the past and hasn't played for five weeks which has to be something of a concern. Anything around the 1.6 mark would be worth a look about the Czech. |
