| | Meffert stunned Delic who is a big server, then came back from the brink after being a set and two match points down against the aggressive and quick Kunitsyn. Two very good victories from an unknown quantity against two talented players with contrasting gamestyles, but here he meets a compatriot who has a bit of both - a big serve (11 aces against Udomchoke) but is also quick and has a power forehand despite standing at less than 6 foot. Despite Meffert's big serve (he is 198cm), he has lost 8 out of his last 9 against fellow Germans, and this guy is that country's second ranked player. Becker in a close one. |

| | I think the match between Kunitsyn to meffert is to rig.Because Kunitysn was win the first set.Following to set, tie break Kunitsyn is 4-0 advantage.Interesting Kunitsyn was not using this advantage and tie break was4-4 then Kunitsyn is advantege 6-4 again and two match ball.İntresting to Kunitsyn was not using again two match ball advantage and Meffert won the set 7-6.And then Meffert won 6-0 final set.
Badddd not sporting game. |

| | Kunitsyn was impressive against Bastl after being given a reprieve when his original opponent Novak Djokovic pulled out of the tournament. Meffert, though, was fantastic in dismantling the serve and volley tactics of Amer Delic and comes into this match with an advantage being an unknown quantity. Always been a fan of the Russian though and I expect his aggression to get him through in 2 sets. |

| | Wouldn't even know what Dominik Meffert looks like, but his qualifying results do not stack up to the reputation and recent form of his opponent Andrei Pavel. Pavel was clinical during the qualifying rounds, and has had a better year than probably even he expected. Strong groundstrokes and a solid serve, and always applies himself well in his matches with a dogged attitude. Will be enough to see him ease through in 3. |
