| | Gustavito - remember this guy has only just turned 20 and even though Kuerten was much better at a similar age most players blossom at around the 23 - 25 age bracket. I've seen him a couple of times and he looks very impressive and has made some great progress in short time and I think he'll be a bit of a force next year. To get to 75 without making even a whisper of noise is good going. |

| | well summed up by destroyer as usual Belucci has won four challengers on clay this year and looks a hot prospect, while the veteran Zib has certainly had his best days. |

| | Bellucci has followed the same sort of path as Eduardo Schwank and is yet another up-and-comer to fear in years to come particularly on the dirt. The Brazillian could be the next Kuerten, and has wins to his name over recent weeks against Garcia-Lopez, Vassallo, Massu, Capdeville, Mello and Sidorenko - which is surely enough here. Zib is a veteran campaigner who now plays predominantly challengers, and at the start of the year lost 8 matches in a row to lowly-ranked opponents. He was unconvincing against Cruciat in the last round who is ranked a good 80 places below Bellucci. This looks a fate-comple. |

| | Nicely summed up by thedestroyer9, Zib took advantage of a very poor serving display by Mayer in the last round and Djokovic is unlikely to give him anything this time. Djokovic is the complete player with the ideal temperament and will take some stopping this week. |

| | Djokovic had little trouble with Ginepri, whilst Zib caused an upset defeating the lacklustre Florian Mayer. Djokovic is 3-0 lifetime h2h against Zib, and the scary thing is Djokovic's highest ranking for those 3 matches was 16. Now number 3, the Serb sensation is tackling all before him. Many regard him as the complete player much in the same echelon as Federer - a great serve, a huge forehand, an awesome backhand (down the line being his favourite) and great agility around the court. Add to that his capable game at net and good creativity and adaptability and you have a formidable opponent. Zib just doesn't have the class nor the hitting power to go with Djoko. |

| | Mayer is currently on a run of six defeats although he did well to take Robredo to 3 sets in his latest start he did fold rather tamely in the 3rd set of that match. Zib did make the final of a challenger last month (clay)but the Czech veteran has been largely out of sorts too. First serves will be critical for Mayer as his second delivery lacks a punch any this level. The German also tends to play a litle conservatively, which will allow Zib to get himself in a lot of points. I'd favour Mayer if his first serve is in good order but likely to be close if not. |
