| | Marrero looks like the unknown card to chose here in this match. He had a very good run in La Serena this month beating Lapentti in 3 in the quarter-finals to lose in the final against Hidalgo. This guy he could beat in the Qualies for Vina del Mar. Very interesting is that he could beat Garcia in La Serena so its the second match against each other in one month. Maybe Garcia wants revenge here as the local matador but i hope his form continues to be rather flat, as its always was in this tournament. |

| | Lee had a wonderful US Open before being stopped in the fourth round by Davydenko who was in hot form. The extremely solid South Korean, well-known for his very low number of unforced errors, plays an opponent who has had some disappointing losses on the challenger circuits in the last few weeks. On that form alone, you'd have to go with Lee in 2. |
