| | Looking at Andujar's comfortable win against Volandri today, then Daniel Brands qualifying form looks impressive. Tursunov is never totally convincing on this surface, so there is a definate chance of an upset here. Brands to win in 4. |

| | I have been looking for this one ever since the draw came out. Brands is a young German who has been very impressive recently in qualifications. He lacks a bit of experience but clay is his best surface and as said: his qualifiers were brilliant. He beat Bogomolov, Massu and Andujar without any trouble and without losing a set and I believe he poses a huge threat to the clay hating Russian here. As a 30/40 player he has a terrible record on the surface of 29-36 last couple of years and has stated several times how much he hates the surface. He has only beaten fellow clay mugs last years and he won't be happy to have to play a youngster who has surpassed three opponents already here in France. The match is for Tursunov to loose and the handicap of 5.5 games is massive. I will put 6 units on it, and 3 on the match odd at 3.55. A total of 9/10 for me. Good luck! |

| | I have read on one forum, brands was playing incredible against massu and andujar. he was dominating with his powerful serve and great one handed backhand. |
