| | Tursunov said he has to play in Paris, cause it is ATP's rulez and he said if it will go wrong he will retire and his health is more important than ATP so make your decisions Tursunoc could retire butt... who knows Mannarino's win looks much more better... |

| | My favourite player on the tour at the moment is none other than Adrian Mannarino after watching his superb showing at Metz in which he defeated with relative ease Serra, Seppi and Gicquel and should have then taken a set off Mathieu in a very close encounter. Since then he has made it to the final of a challenger tournament in Rennes, losing out to Ouanna who himself went onto make a name for himself at Lyon. After losing in qualifying at Lyon, Mannarino will be fully rested after a tough last few weeks and will be looking to take advantage of his wild card. Mannarino's aggressive play off both wings, his speed and good first serve is what makes this player an eye catcher. This looks to be his best surface and he seems to enjoy playing in France and will certainly love the challenge of playing a top player in Tursunov. Tursunov couldn't be in worse shape at the moment, having had problems in his shoulder which means his main assets of powerful groundstrokes and serve are reduced and subsequently his liable consistency and defence is tested and unforced errors mount. This was shown against Hrbaty only a week ago who had an easy task in winning 6-1, 6-1. Mannarino is far better than Hrbaty and I believe his speed and court coverage (comparable to Nadal's), coupled with his aggressive play will bring up a number of unforced errors from Tursunov and winners from Mannarino. I'm hoping for odds of around 3.00 though I think they'll be around 2.50. |
