On resumption he immediately loses the first set and gets crushed 6-0 in the second. This looks suspicious as apparently Zverev played OK up until the rain delay. Someone knew that Zverev was not going to compete after the rain delay. Very dodgy. |

I already have a bet on Zverev and I think I'll load up some more as he made the better impression so far. He has the far better serve and that will decide this match in the end. Zverev will win in it two tiebreakers! |

The serve-volleying German focuses most of his energy on those two weapons, but will not want many baseline rallies to develop here against the consistent baseline play of Dudi Sela. The Israelian is considerably shorter and will have trouble with the reach if Zverev's serve is on song, but can pack some good punches off both wings and is very speedy around the court. Clay is not his favoured surface as he prefers to use the opponent's pace rather than generating that of his own, and he's beaten very little of substance on this surface in the past two years. Sela's last five matches against big-serve types (Karlovic, Johansson, Gonzalez twice and Acasuso) have all yielded straight sets defeats bar one, and Mischa should generate enough opportunities on his opponent's serve to continue that trend. Two tight sets. |

Zverev's form has taken a turn for the worse since his good run in Rotterdam and he has a 3-10 record since then and 2-5 clay. Sela has hardly excelled on the clay and is 2-3. Zverev is likely to come out all guns blazing as is his style, while Sela sits back and trys to stem the tide. Zverev has in fact won a challenger on clay, which is quite surprising given his style and i have a sneaky feeling he might just win this. |
