A question for all the australians. What happens if you betted on Keifer in a multi bet? Does they get substracted from the multi bet??

Have to agree Bullet this tournament is a real joke. Like you're supposed to believe it's the world cup or something with all the flags, then you have stooges like Chela representing Arg. Don't know who they think they're fooling.

Ferrer made it obvious for a reason - He wanted to make a clear point about what he was doing. That might be the end of it and Lopez will give his all which will be enough to overcome Kiefer and @ 2/1 you can't complain either way.

I agree that it's possible that Lopez will do it the other way. Maybe even because things going on yesterday were so obvious. But even then I wouldn't be sure if it will be enough to beat Kiefer who found form in Hamburg. Simply too many open questions here. No bet for me.

I agree Ferrer and Minar were a disgrace. I don't personally think Lopez will go down the same route especially after yesterday and I'll take my chances with him. Just saying because some did it doesn't mean Lopez or others will.

And D.Carson...... two professionals did throw their matches yesterday..... Ferrer and Minar had no intention of trying to win, so don't give them too much credit.

I agree that it's possible that Lopez doesn't put his all in here..... however just because a fellow countryman doesn't try it doesn't rule out the possibillity that Lopez will try here. Berdych took yesterdays match very seriously whilst teamate Minar tanked disgracefully.......

Even after what's been mentioned I still don't believe Lopez will throw this match personally. I just find it hard to envisage a professional doing such a thing. There must have been some kind of throwback after what David Ferrer did so I'll back Lopez and take my chance @ around 11/5.

Kiefer in straight sets here. And not because he's the much better player but because of what has been discussed here before. I have seen an interview with Philipp Kohlschreiber after his match against Ferrer and he said that it was really strange what Ferrer showed and that it was "no fun to win a match like that". He was even sorry for the crowd. Ferrers performance was embarassing and there must be a strong reason for that. Maybe Lopez will pretend to play a bit more serious because the Ferrer-performance could have already brought some consequences for the Spanish team. But still there is something rotten. Kiefer plays in front of his home-crowd once again and the people in Duesseldorf are looking forward to see the Hamburg-hero. Kiefer will not want to disappoint them. Put your money on Kiefer and if you don't want to do that I can just recommend to avoid that match.

looks like our theory is looking morere likely - Price is starting to swing even more in favour of the German. Lopez eased to 11/5. Kiefer 4/9.

 It´s a strong possibility. Yesterday´s Ferrer´s performance was more than a shame.

Slater posted this message earlier: You all should know that there is a conflict between Spanish Tennis federation president and Spanish tennis players. They want him out of the Federation so that could be the reason of this match result because they cant do that on a davis cup SF......the match he was referring to was the Ferrer one.

Definitely with carson on this one.Lopez will bring Kiefer back down to earth the value bet of the day for sure.Kiefer has a big serve but so does the spaniard.Lopez must not just keep going for outright winners let the ralleys be long lopez is younger a better mover an Kiefer must be feeling the effects from Hamburg Lopez can let Kiefer beat him self.I think Lopez has so much talent with a tennis racket in his hand its untrue but just got to believe in himself an the results would follow im sure.Lopez in 2 for me!!

Lopez shouldn't be trading at 13/8. I'm taking the classy left-handed Spaniard to run down ageing legs of the German. Both are more than competent on serve and Lopez simply has to be taken at these odds. I'm not the biggest believer in H2H but if you are Kiefer does lead 2-0. Lopez, although not a typical Spanish claycourter is a lot more competent on it than Nicolas and that's reason enough for me in a match under these kind of circumstances. Kiefer is coming into this on the back of some good form from his Hamburg run where he eventually fell to semi-finalist Andreas Seppi but I'm very confident about this underdog. Kiefer 4/9 Lopez 13/8.

This should be a stroll in the park for Kiefer as long as last weeks efforts have not taken too much out of him. Lopez is just an enigma, there seems little logic in his form from week to week and simply for these 2 reasons I will leave the match alone
