Login to give Aces | | Klepac wins 6-3 7-6. The extra experience of Arviddson didn't even help her win the tie-break. Arviddson goes in my book of unreliable favourites. |

Login to give Aces | | Arvidsson has pulled it back to 5-5 second set. May still be hope. Perhaps this was not a wise bet as although Klepac's form is poor Arvidsson has no form on clay this year either. |

Login to give Aces | | The Swede Arvidsson is a tough nut to crack from the baseline, and after recent wins over Kleybanova, Chakvetadze, Bartoli and a narrow loss to Jankovic, she took the high-flying Benesova to 3 sets in her home town at Prague, then defeating Kostanic Tosic, Johansson and Bremond en route to a hard-fought title win in Zagreb on carpet. Klepac is a youngster who is still a little erratic, and she has lost 8 of her past 9 matches on tour with the only win coming last week in Rome against a disappointing Domachowska. Arvidsson could make some headway this week in a fairly weak field, and her vast experience and cool-headedness should prevail over the sloppy Slovenian who looks all at sea on the red stuff. Safe money at $1.36. |
