Login to give Aces		 Surprised at the overwhelming support for Katarina Srebotnik given she is prone to very disappointing results out of the blue from time-to-time. She was in fine form during the Tokyo tournament where she qualified then beat Wozniacki, Schiavone and Dementieva, then lost abysmally when backing up against Tanasugarn she led 5-2 in the second before losing serve 3 times and coughing up the match. She may have been tired though, and she was back in Moscow qualifying against three pretty average opponents then beat the patchy A Bondarenko before losing out to Dementieva. You never know what you'll get with the Slovenian, and indoors she had lost 5 straight matches before her efforts last week. She was a QFish here in 05 and a semi-finallist here in 06, but it's well known that Kata can struggle on this terrain if her opponent can get good purchase off the serve and back it up with an attacking baseline game plan as Vaidisova, Golovin, Safina (3), Ivanovic, Gadjosova, Myskina and Clijsters have adopted to perfection in the past. Young local hope Timea Bacszinszky last ventured indoors at Antwerp earlier in the year, where she grinded through quallies then beat Govortsova, Ditty and Hantuchova only to lose to Henin in the semis where she trailled a set and had a chance to break early in the second. Five trips to this event saw year challenge Srebotnik back in 2005 at a mere 16 years of age, and she also made the QFs a year later where it took an unstoppable Sharapova to halt her run. She is at a career-high 48 in the world with a bit of motivation to keep herself etched in the top 50 nearing the end of year which I'm sure would have been a goal of hers. The Swiss girl favours her serve as her most potent weapon and if she can really get this area going and have Srebotnik on the run and on the back foot, the crowd could really get behind her and we may see a big upset looming. If you asked me, the prices should be about $1.40 for Kata and $2.90ish for Bacsinszky but perhaps her lack of match play is scaring punters. Not for me.

Login to give Aces		 Bacsinszky looks to have a good future in the game an as really impressed me of late an it`s nice to see someone in the WTA with a good serve an use it as a weapon.But Timea up against a solid player in Kat who makes little mistakes an im expecting Kat to dominate the points the longer the rallies go on.Srebotnik had a solid week in the Kremlin Cup an was very unlucky to go out to Dementieva losing the 3rd set in a tie/breaker.Kat as beaten Timea on both occasions an is a solid bet an will be in all my multi bets
