She is opposed to Nadia Petrova, the former world top 5 player who has rejuvinated her career in recent months a Cincinatti title, a final in Birmingham and a QF appearance at Wimbledon all on quick surfaces. She has a big serve, hits with plenty of bite and the pint-sized Japanese will struggle to cope with such force. The hardcourt record of the two players - Petrova 32-18 last 50 games; Nakamura 22-28 and at a lower level - sums it up and the Russian will eat sushi for dinner. |
