LOL OMG i hope you guys were betting in play on this match. Navarro up 4-3 in the 3rd, is at 40-15, and the odds were 1.40 for Navarro to win. Navarro took the point for 5-3 lead in the 3rd and is serving for the match

i have a big smile at the moment, commited robbery hahaha

Mathieu did well and won his doubles match yesterday which all the bookies had him down to lose so he must be motivated.

I agree with you @destroyer. I'm sure that Navarro-Pastor's technique is something Mathieu doesn't like face. Mainly because of this, i think this match can be a very narrow shave. Therefore i leave this pre-bet.

PHM is a guy i dont trust at the higher levels but i doubt his opponent has the style to make him serious trouble here.

A tricky match for Mathieu who won't enjoy being taken out of his rhythm by the unusual style of Navarro-Pastor. The Spaniard is a rare species in that he is a claycourter who likes to serve and volley and mix up his pace, spins and slices - in his last 5 challenger events he has never failed to reach the QFs and recently pushed Fernando Gonzalez all the way at Flushing Meadows. He went straight from the States to Alphen in the Netherlands where he got some matches udner his belt on this terrain, while the Frenchman has played just one match on the surface since the French though he did win the 2007 Gstaad title a week after Wimbledon. He is keen on a top 20 finish to cap off a good year and has the power in his shots to give Navarro a hard-time, his problem will be maintaining patience on the return and keeping the errors to a minimum which will be a focus for his opponent. Get the feeling this is a banana skin for PHM but if I was forced to pick a winner I'd go with the class without any degree of confidence.
