My god, if you lose to players like Hanescu and Troiki of recent note, I don't think it is a bad thing. Not many players actually do that well agsinst those 2 big guns. I think Grems got my consistency and a very "German-like" determination which should see him overcome the wayward Frenchman.

I ony saw Chardy versus Hanescu at Gstaad and that was enough for me, Hanescu was even the better mover in my opinion and the frenchmans groundstrokes were not really a glory - i dont know how he managed to beat higher ranked players so far. If Chardy has no brilliant day on his first serve the Gremlin should have very good chances to take this match.

People think that Denis is in good form but has been playing rubbish with loses to Darcis, Hanescu, Troicki and Mayer recently. His record is only 47% on clay this year and has looked out of shape and style on the surface while Chardy is the complete oppoiste playing some good tennis of late with some good wins under his belt and a good record to show for it on clay of 22-10. I think he is the overwhelming favourite and love him at these odds. For me Gremelmayr is overrated.

Gremelmayr has been out of form on clay of late an was beaten by Mayer recently on clay where he looked awful.I like Chardy as a player aggressive with is shots an also has a solid serve.Chardy is a better player on faster coutrs but given is impressive run at R/G an Gremelmayr recent form on clay i will go with Chardy

Gremelmayr is seemingly over his form woes of 2008 and his serving has improved vastly in recent months and during the brief hardcourt swing he consistently racked up double figures in the aces department. He is a steely competitor with good foot speed, a penetrating forehand and stylish single-handed backhand, though occasionally against the better crop of players he can be pushed too far back and the shorter balls become punished. He still hasn't won a claycourt match since March which is a concern, but matches up well against the flashy and erratic style of Chardy. The Frenchman made waves at Roland Garros, but since then the pickings have been slim though he did win a challenger title the last time he played on this surface. He has a big serve which should ensure a bit of a serve-dominated match, but in the heat of the crunch stick with the German who is more well-rounded, is 11-6 in 3-setters for 2008 and whom on this surface in 08 has beaten the likes of Blake, Tursunov and Almagro whilst taking sets off Djokovic at the French and Federer in Estoril.

Dennis Gremelmayr has a good service and he had great results this year:) Chary didnt play for about 1 or 2 months and i think so he wont be able to beat a Gremelmayr in a great form.:) P.S. : Please introduce this email adress in your list if you want to talk about tennis matches:) adryan_dinamo03@yahoo.com
