His aggressive approach to taking on opponents especially on clay makes his play somewhat unorthodox on this surface yet very effective. He should be able to force the error out of Gonzalez by dictating the rallies and moving gonzlez who likes to stay behind the baseline. |

The Spaniard is rated one of the better claycourters in the world and he's not lost in the first round of such an event since this tourny last year (l. to Bolelli). He has a heavy serve, hits very aggressively from the back of the court and his struggles on this terrain have come only against the elite. Gonzalez is a typical dirtballer who possesses only a modest serve, hits consistently off the back and is happy to play a metre or so behind the baseline, he has lost 4 straight matches on the terrain however (l. to Crivoi, Hartfield, Zverev, Andreev) and the confident seemingly shot. The Spaniard will have it all his own way and avoiding a host of unforced errors will coast through to the secound round in a field he'll feel quietly confident of besting here this week. |

Almagro is fav here for sure but i dont like bettin favs after great tournaments. u never know if they prefer to loose the match and go rest to their home countries. so again small bet in the dog |
