It really hurts the eye watching Gasquet and Almagro today - those who bet on them should not watch this for the better health.

Phew there we go. As soon as Oscar missed his first serves Gasquet blew a gasket and broke him. Serving for set 2 now.

Damn man Hernandez is serving very well, aces left right and centre. Gasquet will have to hang in there with his serve.

oh my goodness. a nightmare so far. The last hope is that Gasquet can repeat what he did three years ago when they met for the first time in Rome (6-7 6-1 6-0) ...

As destroyer said Gasquet more often than not bounces back after suprise losses. I think Gasquets overall skill will show in this game. Im guessing a straight set win here

I like Oscar but his form has been poor especially on his favored surface and shows no signs of improving. Gasquet should complete an easy 2 set victory. Should be too classy in this one. But then again I have said this before about him and he has failed

Gasquet is supremely talented and will expect a decent run in this tourney after his first round exit at the us open. He is usually quick to get going and should pressure Hernandez from the off.

Who's tipping Hernandez here lol. Gasquet is back on his favourite surface and he'll win this tournament with no pressure on him. Hernandez is a grinder but that wont cut any ice with Richard.

Gasquet has had some time off after a disappointing US Open ended in the first round by Tommy Haas, but Grand Slam hangovers haven't been a factor for the talented Frenchman who's made a final, quarter final and won 3 from 3 for France in Davis Cup post the majors in the past two or so years. His game is better suited to the harder and faster surfaces, but his nouse on clay is by no means poor and he'll still have all the artillery to crunch the dirtball defender Hernandez. The Spaniard was belted by a 270th ranked Algerian just a few weeks ago, and Gasquet made the final of a clay event when he last made a transition from the harder to the slower stuff.

Gasquet will come into this tournment with some rest after his disapointing 1st Round defeat at the US Open to Haas in 5sets.Also the frenchman will be number 1 seed at Bucharest.Hernandez does most of his work on the red stuff an his a solid player an on his day if the best aint up to it he will take advantage.Gasquet for me tho, should have to much class
