The value is definitely with Kat IMO.Kuznetsova haven`t looked that impressive so im hoping Kat will play her best tennis an could snatch a victory

With u there andy. Kata sure is a big chance here. Svetlana beat Sorana Cirstea who like most WTA players tries to hit balls when her feet are not in position. Big room for improvement for her anyway and that's a different story...
Svetlana is unlike most Russain girls in that she is not as good looking and also this one hit wonder stole a US Open crown from my fave babe Elena.
I hope Kata can bring her form into this one. She has woken up since the 1st set loss to Wickmayer and has completely demoiliched wveryone. Svet will be included today.

These two played out a thriller in France last year indoors, with Kuznetsova the victor in 3 hours after coming from a set down. Both players' lead-up form has been just average, but Srebotnik has looked in superior form this week with two crushing victories whilst the Russian has been sluggish to start on both occasions. Kata beat the talented Wickmayer first up, then lost just 4 games as she pummelled Meusburger winning 72% behind her first serve, 59% of all return points and more than tripling her opponents winners count. Kuznetsova had her struggles in the first round early against Zhang, and the same was the case against Cirstea who had her chances before being edged out in a breaker. In that match, Svetlana won 83% and 70% behind her first and second balls and faced just one break point, but she was forced to come from a break down and a more self-confident and proven performer could have had her in more trouble in that game because she wasn't firing well with the forehand and the movement was only OK. Srebotnik is not a good opponent for Kuznetsova who won't always be able to use the pace of the Slovenian, and Kata has a very good serve placement and variety and also has the ability to come in and finish the point off in the forecourt. She rarely beats herself and has a bit more mental strength than the 3rd seed, and if she can start well and take advantage of a sluggish Kuznetsova early and wrap up the first set she could be well on her way considering she has won 23 of her past 25 after leading by a set.
