BennyBingo, don't rub it in. Its good that federer won, 30 other people picked it as well. Lets show some maturity and not gloat over the Djokovic supporters.

Take your Mummy and Daddy and go away. I wouldn't even let my parents in the stadium to watch me nevermind have them cheering every point as if I'd just won the tournament.

Australian Open - Glandular fever - Federer lost
U.S. Open - Good health - Dished out a beating to this one-dimensional overrated player who will never be world No.1

Simply the best better than all the rest - Roger all the way.

U.S. Open 2008 final - Federer v Murray.

Read my post before the match started (yesterday). Djoke retires too often, quits when he is losing. He even quit on the last two points of the semi-final! Easy Federer win when you he plays against a fragile mind. Go Fed----2008 US Open Mens Champion

After Novak's disgusting poor sportsmanship and totally disgracing himself to tennis fans with his crybaby antics after the Roddick match,I hope Federer abusing him thoroughly and sends the disresptful snotnose punk packing along with his annoying mommy and daddy.

Super Saturday might be great for the fans at the US Open but for the men its crap.Maybe 2 semis go the distance & then back up 2morrow for the final.Poor scheduling. Also to play a 5th set tiebreak if it comes down to it is also rubbish

Its 1-1 in sets now,but whatevwer odds are i will put my money on Federer. I just dont see that killer instinct in %u0110okovi%u0107 like he usualy haves. When Roger stop making mistakes he will win.

oh btw @ nikgill85 - Last time Fed lost a semi in straight sets was only earlier this year, at the Aus Open, also against Djokovic.

The last time these two players met at GS was at Austalian Open (correct me if im wrong), and strangely enough, was during Semi Finals too. Roger's lost to Novak in straight sets then will play at the back of his mind. Incidently that was the turning point for Federer from being the invincible tennis ace to a dissapointing world's no#2 (!!). However, Federer will be fully aware of that lost, and will learn from it being the pro that he is. And this being his last grand slam opportunity for this year, surely he will not let this go as easily. This is afterall, a revenge opportuninty for the Swiss. Taking all of this into consideration, I think this match will go down to the wire, in 4 tight sets, or even 5. I dont believe it will be a 3-0 trashing again by Djokovic, and no way can I see Federer turning the tide to 3-0 in his favour, unless he watches the video of the Kieren Perkins of Barcelona 1500m finals race before this match! We are in for a long night.

Btw Channel 9 of Perth Australia, if you are going to buy the tv rights of US Open finals instead of Foxtel, pls, for the sake of all sporting fans, show it LIVE, not delayed at 2am!

Anyway, in my opinion, the smarter bet is OVER 41 games. As always, good luck :)....

Federer is not in near of his old superior form, and what I have seen he does have the endurance when playing and often choices the wrong moment to try to finish the point. As someone said Federer has a negative record aginst top 10-players. Federer has not yet met a real threat in this tourny, but still he had a lot of problems winning against both Andreev and Muller. Djokovic is imo the best player on hard courts, with great serve and playing aggressive without making too many ue. Imo the odds should be the other way around, which makes the serb great value. The only thing worrying me is Djokovic´s historical problems with fatigue in grand slams, which keep this at a medium bet.

dont have a clue why anyondm would look at the 6-2 hth when djokovic was 19years for 4 of these matches and roger was at his prime.wake up djokovic is going straight past roger here and will beat murray in the final. And the price is a gift 3-0 would not surprise.

Fed has the edge in motivation and stamina imo and is also less likely to crack f he goes a set down.

Forget the stats. They mean nothing here. This is about Fed keeping the Djoker down. He's struggling with Nadal but he wo'nt allow this guy the joy of beating him here.Djoko should have beat Roddick in 3.Was cruising but slipped mentally & was lucky to get off & win in 4.It will be close but Fed for me.Take the $1.72 now & continue to put more on live in play. You won't be dissappointed

A finely balanced match where I believe it'll go down to 5 sets. I think Djokovic wants this more, the only thing is the crowd don;t like him at the moment and that will held the Fed Express. I'd lay a 3-0 win for either player as this will def not be a straight sets victory for either. When's the last time Fed lost a semi in straight sets?

Nole sure has the edge here....He is an all court player that is superior to Federer at the moment. Strengths include his dominant groundstrokes, especially the forehand which are powerful, deep, well angled, and hit with strong topspin, although his preferred groundstroke is the backhand. With considerable speed, his serve is one of his major weapons winning many free points from his flatter first serve and employing a sharp curving kick serve as his second serve. While very sound and powerful from the baseline, often finishes points by coming to the net similar to Roger Federer of course. This seems a game that has no end because these two players can play absolutely brilliant tennis but someone will have to prevail, and considering Federers form lately, i think Djokovic is a very likely winner in 4 sets.
