Verdasco played very averagely in his last match and doesn;t giv me confidence that he can notch it up against the steely performer of Andreev. Like quite a few of the matches in the last couple of days it'll pobably go to the fifth at which point my money would be on Igor.

adreev for my here,i pick t him before the turnement as my surprize and i stick with him.verdasco is a very moody and capricious player and igor with his baseline solid rock play and with an improoved service game will be the best here...

@cantatonia - lol easy to beat ey? Each 3 of the matches they have played have gone down to the wire. With that in mind it's about time Andreev won one of the battles. Andreev in 4.

 I.Andreev <2> (Betfair)

Andreev like i said before has improved alot on hard courts this year an will fancy his chances against Verdasco.Andreev has had little trouble in his first two opening rounds against Gicquel an Chardy winning both of them in straight sets

Verdasco is on the verge of breaking into the top 10 with some great tennis over the past 3 months but also in them 3 months has had some silly defeats.I also feel in this match Verdasco his going to struggle alot more on serve than the Russian an that his another point why i see Andreev winning.

The H2H reads 3-0 to Verdasco but the last time they met it was very close an i thought Andreev should have one myself. Also they`ve met once on a hard court at the Open also a close match which Verdasco went onto win aswell but it was 4 years ago an even tho both players have improved i just feel Andreev game is better on a hard court than Verdasco an Andreev mind set his much more postive

Igor is one of my HitMen. I liken him to a baby Hitman. But this baby has some game and can run all day and still hit the ball at a rapid rate.

Verdasco is good but will never be great. He has the mindset of a loser and the serving ability of a waitress. Will be pounded into submission be it in 3 sets or 4 sets.

Generally Andreev struggles against lefties (6-19 overall) and he is 0-3 against Verdasco. The Spaniard is a player who gets confidence from the past and knowing Andreev is easy to beat he may take this one.

verdasco is so bad at now, against machado he was in troubles, so i think that he will suffer again playing against andreev, and andreev is capable to play so bad, so i prefer to watch the match bt yv, and no bet
