Anyone wh has beaten Rafa this yer deserves some respect. Roddick should win this in front of his home crowd but Seppi is one of those dangerous players who has the ability of an upset on his day. The odds don;t stack up or a Roddick win although I'd love to see him go through to the next round. I'll watch this one in play and see if i can get better odds.

Well, after thinking twice and watching Gulbis play against Johansson and against Roddick, im not even surprised that Roddick defeated him. Gulbis is still young and his shot selection is very poor on many occasions even though he is a very good athlete. He runs out of ideas many times. That is why i really think Seppi does in fact stand a chance against Roddick. A lot of it will depend on Andys first serve because i feel that even if Seppi doesnt give his best tennis today, he is still able to beat Roddick with putting the ball in play and waiting for Andy to make a massive amount of errors especially on his backhand side. Seppi @ 5,5

 Today Andy is 1,15.
Odds are going down.
This is not sure indicator for Andy's win, but in most cases this is with the reason and in most casses this odds which are going down pays.
And I watch Andy, he plays very good.
Everybody says that he have only serve, but he is good from back, not like the best, but good enough to break when somebody have problems with 1s serve or something.

After fighting like a warrior and turning the match against Gulbis this one here won't be the end of the road for Andy Roddick. Seppi had a great year but he still has not enough to beat Roddick on his home-court in a best-of-5-match. World-class serve, powerful groundstrokes, fighting spirit and - once again - the enthusiastic crowd will carry into the next round.

I see that some people are impressed with the way Roddick is playing, and to that all I want to say is ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? The guy is playing ugly, without quality, he beat Gulbis when the Latvian simply fell a part after he led 6:3, 5:4 with a serve for the set. All Roddick did was put the ball on the court and Gulbis made sure that the ball misses everything. Against Seppi he will play a player who won't make those kinds of mistakes and I do believe that the Italian has a pretty good chance of winning this match.

Roddick has already passed a tough match with Gulbis, having a hard time breaking serve however he prevailed in the end, so hopefully he should go alright against the Italian.

Roddick has been very impressive so far in this US open, a very convincing win against Santoro and playing very good tennis against Gulbis. He played amazingly in a game where people thoght that he could have been trobuled but i think that he could be back to his best tennis. If he gets a win here then will probably verse Gonzalez which i think he can win on his form and then Djokovic which can be an amazing match to watch and one where he might win.
He has been very imrpressive for me and am looking forward to watching him progress.

Roddick is not facing a player here with the same potency on serve as he did in Gulbis, which required a lot of patience from Roddick. Here though he should get deuces with regularity and he tends to take advantage sooner or later. He has the option of breaking people later of course because his serve is usually keeping him in the match. It's been operating quite well, and as good a returner as Seppi is, nobody really gets that many chances against it. Seppi is a pretty good player and a high spot may see him steal a set, but Roddick should ride it out. Seppi also is prone to nerves, spectacularly in Hamburg masters against Kiefer, which doesn't really help his chances here too much even if he does get a lead. The draw is opening up for Roddick after getting past Gulbis and I'd be pretty surprised if he didn't get through this and onto bigger things.
