Login to give Aces | | A true serve-volley affair and Stepanek has got the better of the Frenchman on all three previous occasions without dropping a set and only being pushed to a tiebreak once. Both men have been struggling with injuries in recent times but although the Czech has lost 3 matches on end he pushed each to the journey and will be confident of taking out Llodra who has only been able to complete 1 of his last 4 matches. Llodra has the bigger and better serve, but Stepanek's placement and court smarts are just as tops and in my opinion he is the more crisp volleyer (Llodra was error-riddled on the forehand volley all through the grass season). The Frenchman's lack of baseline power and some restricted movement will be unable to expose Stepanek's questionable forehand wing, and this one looks a foregone conclusion especially given the rain is bound to slow the courts up a tad. |

Login to give Aces | | Hmm ye....Value is surely with Llodra here....This surely started as the best season of his career, but too bad he has many injury problems all the time. Im sure he could have beaten Gasquet at least once in the last 2 meetings if it wasnt for his problems. Stepanek is a favorite obviously, especially looking at his 3 relatively easy wins against Llodra, but at 1,25 i wouldnt take him against Max Mirnyi yet Michael Llodra. |

Login to give Aces | | Unfortunate draw for Llodra who I was thinking might play above himself. I suspect maybe he won't get through this one against a very tricky player. Although it won't surprise me in the least for this to be split sets and possibly even an upset. I'm not banking on Stepanek, I'd need 2/5 to take him, otherwise I'll be on Llodra. |
