Login to give Aces | | I am backing lapentti here. Has played great lately and off of a nice run at cincy. Mathieu has struggled and although I expect him to come in with a different mind set since it is the olympics I do not think it will be enough against an in form lapentti. |

Login to give Aces | | Interesting really, Lapentti plays a very solid tournament after a long time of nothing. What is this year? A veteran resurrection? Schuettler, Clement, Santoro, Lapentti...hmm lol I will probably add Spadea or Johansson to Safin and Djokovic as my favorites to win the Us Open this year lol Oh well, this is a chance for Mathieu to get up and finally clinch a win after those crappy 3 setters he lost recently to Ginepri and Querrey. Pretty nice value too though |

Login to give Aces | | Lapentti was in great shape last week where it took an on fire Rafael Nadal to halt him in Torinto after he had defeated Cilic, Ferrer and Verdasco. The Ecuadorian is serving fantastically and is looking as good as ever in regards to his movement around the court. I do however think there has been a big exaggeration in the prices due to that run it America and my money will be on Mathieu here. I think Mathieu has the consistency and power from the back of the court to derail him. I'sd have expected more like 1/2, not 4/6. |
