OMG, this is a lesson I will never forget. For weeks and weeks, I was dropping big-time money on guys like Nadal, Djokavic, Wozniacki, Safina, Kuznetsova....Now I have one rule to live by:

If the odds are worse than 1.33, I am NOT playing the favorite. Period.

By the way, I loss $3000 US on this match. I'm not broke, but that is a huge chunk out of my betting account.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Good luck in the future gentlemen, my bottle of Bushmills is waiting for me once I get outta work ;)

LiLo, the only girl in professional mens tennis. All the spaniards with the exception of nadal seem to have run out of luck after spain won euro 2008. Spain u-23 not qualifying for olympics(big part due to bojan playing for full international now), Ferrer losing the unlosable, robredo hit and miss, Verdasco dropping sets as if its gone out of fashion, and lopez who isnt even worth a mention...

Am pretty glad the only bet i placed was a 10 multi with verdasco

Lopez double faults 3 times serving for the set. Is this a joke?

Dont like them at all, but on this surface Lopez should be the winner.
Maybe in a 3 setter.

@SUPEPDUPER, is there any faq or guide as to how to understand your site? There are a lot of numbers and they look intriguing, but they kind of confuse me. THanks!

Gremelmayr beat Fognini in straight sets in the last round, but that was like a WTA match. Lopez will break Gremelmayr more than once in this match which should be enough to see him win. This tournament has had some surprises so far, but if Lopez turns up he wins easily.

Lopez has far too many weapons for Denis, and it should be a comfortable straight sets victory.

It will be a very intereting match ! Feliciano lopez lost in first tour at Cincinatti with A. Seppi ...( 5-7 ; 5-7 ) so he isn t in good form. But even like that Lopez has a great serve a big talent and he will beat a Gremelmayr quite disheartened . Lopez will beat 2-0:):)

I agree with everyone that Lopez is the obvious choice. Unfortunately, I get very nervous when I see 100% of the picks on the same player. I haven't seen Gremelmayr play so I'll take everyone's word that he's not all that good. At the same time, Lopez doesn't seem to be at his best. And I'm not a fan of someone who has to depend on a slice backhand all of the time. If his serve is off by a bit, or his heart/confidence not in it (2 straight losses on this surface), maybe Gremelmayr has a chance. Sorry to be picking opposite everyone here but I'll put a small one on the guy who has a win under his belt on this surface playing against someone who's lost two in a row and playing his first match here.

Same here, I see lopezs form beign too good in recent times and when he plays players in the ranking region of Gremelmayr he tends to destroy them. Lopez will find the gruoundstrokes he needs against Gremelmayr who will struggle to cope on the hard court, i dont see him backing up and doing the same think as last game. But i think this might be one of those games where Gremelmayr can get a set off Lopez but the sets that lopez will win he will dominate pretty easily.

I am betting big on Lopez this time. I lost a lot of money on Haas today, thinking it was a for-sure victory. Seriously, if Lopez loses this match plus Haas's loss, then this tournament will be way too wacky!

I agree Lopez should win this one in 2.
