Login to give Aces | | Gicqel is no doubt the better overall player but he is not exactly great on hardcourt. Young got a great result against Haas but how hard was the playboy trying ? On balance you must say that in front of a home crowd and with a good result behind him then Young must have a reasonable chance so the odds are more than generous enough to have a punt on the young and inconsistent Young. |

Login to give Aces | | this is one to avoid but I will have a bet. I went against young against haas, just like any other young match. And I will go against him here. I can see young pull this out only because it is on hard. Young's best surfacae...Gicquel's worse. Young has struggled mightly against anyone halfway decent this year. He is playing at home and played well against haas so see if he can continue his run...until he actually meets someone decent on hard. |

Donald young stands a great chance of beating Gicquel here as playing in front if his US fans and no doubt getting accolades for the "upset" victory over new Prince of Myrth, Ha Ha Haas.
Gicquel is coming off a a couple of days break. Donald Young wasn't made to work by Haas and had plenty in reserve before that match was up.
I sense Young's "eye" is in and should be able to carry through and win.
I will abandon my exodus from betting and actually go for Young...heck why not, in Disneyland tournaments like this, every dream seems to come through. |
