Line has moved all the way from -213 this morning to -280 before the match. Canas looks like nice value at 3.6

I am going to stay away from this one, especially being the first round, Canas has shown flashes of brilliance and Soderling has been known for mental lapses.

I agree with Timmah. Soderling should win but the odds are not attractive when you consider how many times he blows it when he's ahead in a game against an underdog. The windy conditions will favour players who can generate a lot of topspin and this will favour old man Canas. Too risky to bet on Soderling imo.

The odds are wrong?! Gotta be Canas or no play. Good value, I see it has a pick em. I think Canas likes this surface. Cmon Cana upset!

Soderling has more confidence, has the bigger serve and if you ask me he is the better player. There are two things however that make sure I'd personally never back him at these odds: The first thing is that he will always be a choker and can blow up at any time. The other thing is the windy conditions. He is one of the worst players to cope with the wind. Earlier this year he played Fed in those conditions, playing terribly despite great form and even retiring when he didn't seem to have a clear injury (he said he was dizzy.....)
I won't be Canas either though to be honoust but in these conditions, he could be tricky.

If I had to make a bet on this match, I'd take Canas +209. I really don't trust him though. He showed last year he could be the best when he took down Federer 2 weeks in a row, but his current form is in question. I liked that he was competitive with Andreev last week, but this also makes me question if and how he will be ready for the harcourts with only a couple of days to prepare. No bet for me.

Soderling is very very up and down. Canas though is past his best especially on quicker surfaces. Small bet for Soderling

"Soderling is a lock - pile into him" im sorry but i quite like soderling but he is NEVER i repeat NEVER a lock. I priced up this match in my head and in my eyes there is value on Canas... He is a fighter, mainly because he gets himself in situations where he needs to fight, but soderling has lapses in almost every match i have watched of his recently and i think there is value in Canas here... Small stakes though. Good luck all

Soderling should win this as Canas has completely lost his confidence and game recently.Soderling should have far too many weapons if he can keep his error count down to win this comfortably.

I am almost as confident in this as the Berdych game. Same reasons, Soderling has the power game to beat Canas and considering the poor form of Guillermo, these odds look very generous. Canas is unlikely to make any inroads on the Swede's serve and Robin will be looking to hammer his right back. Should be 2-0 to Robin.

I think Soderling has the brutality in his groundstrokes to really knock the Canas serve out of sync. He is certainly a great serever himself under normal circumstances and this will be heightened on hard. Canas himself has become increasingly erratic this year and that would seemingly detract from his main weapon against Soderling. The match is all about Soderling's radar. If it's on for him he will crush a lot of balls out of Canas' reach, whereas you might say Canas doesn't have this ability to the same extent. Could descend into a very close match though if Soderling is producing an unflattering amount of errors. With a gun to my head I go for Soderling.
