He clearly prefers the dirt and avoids hard courts. I know that Verdasco may be in the same boat, but he surely is competitive on the hard courts. I have a hard time believing Bellucci’s 1st ATP win on hard court is going to be by way of Verdasco. At 1.26, I still see value for this match. |

He won the title in Umag last week defeating Andreev in a tough final. This year has brought about greater consistency for the Spaniard than in previous years and he should will have too much flair here for Bellucci. Bellucci has also had a good year, mainly at challenger level, but he has shown some potential whenever he has stepped up. Verdasco will win this match, although the odds are not worth the hassle. |

Verdasco is one of the better all courts players. Coming off a nice run in Croatia, where he lost only 1 set, he should riding high. If the travel and lack of prep time doesn't affect him, he could make a push for the quarter's. I like his chances of getting to the round of 16. He'd have to be favored over the winner of Soderling/Canas. He'd then have a tough matchup vs. Djokovic and will likely end his 6 match winning streak. |

I know Belucci is not doing fine on faster courts but do you think that fatigue would be a problem for the spaniard and probably an early round upset?
Thanks |
